We are excited to announce that we have signed a new contract for caisson production in Jinhae, Korea. For the Breakwater-Wharf Section 1–2 of the Jinhae Newport megaproject, DL E&C has selected us as the supplier of both slipform technology and caisson transfer systems.
Strengthening Jinhae Newport’s Development
This new agreement follows an earlier contract signed this year for another caisson project in Jinhae. Together, these projects form part of the Korean government’s strategic plan to expand Busan’s port capacity, with the long-term goal of making it the world’s third-largest port by 2045.
By contributing to multiple caisson construction projects in Jinhae, we are proud to play a role in supporting South Korea’s ambition to become a global leader in port infrastructure.
Advanced Caisson Production Technology
The caissons will be produced using our gantry slipform system, ensuring precision and efficiency in construction. Once complete, the massive structures will be transferred to the floating dock with our advanced IP-CCV transfer equipment, designed specifically for handling heavy marine structures.
