We are proud to once again be a part of the unique installation work of the last hatch for the water levelling system at Slussen Stockholm with the Skanska Group. The hatch is an impressive custom design of 85-ton stainless steel, 38 meters long and 7,3 meter width.
The installation is a delicate procedure since the hatch first needs to be tilted in a 60 degree angle to fit the slot in the top concrete. The final stage is to meet the 16 bottom hinges 8 meter below.
16 of our versatile T-15 wire jacks has been the effective tool to handle the complexity in this project and shows our adaptiveness in the heavy lifting field.
