The caisson project with Daewoo E&C in Donghae, Korea, has now entered full production.
Two caissons are cast simultaneously in the same gantry to increase production efficiency. Once completed, they are transferred individually, using our skidding equipment, to the floating dock for launch.
The project is part of the expansion and reorganization of Donghae’s existing port.
A total of 25 caissons will be slipformed, each measuring 16.3 × 23.9 meters with a height of 19.1 meters and weighing approximately 3,000 tons.
