Incremental launching of steel bridge crossing Tunaån
The bridge length was 96 m, with a girder weight of approximately 92 tons. Total launched weight was estimated at 240 tons including formwork.
The launch system was prepared with 6 nos T15-S-18 jacks. After about 2 m of launching, the bridge entered a downward slope. Two jacks were used for braking.
