Milad Tower – Teheran, Iran
Milad Tower is a multi-purpose tower in Tehran, Iran. The tower is 435 meters tall and is the tallest tower in Iran, and the sixth-tallest telecommunication tower in the world.
Construction of the tower started January 1999. The shaft has an octagonal base and the outer walls are tapered and leaning inwards at the same time. Th tower is slipformed up to level 320m.
For lifting operations of the tower head and antenna our heavy lifting technology was used.
Lifting of antenna was completed in 2006.
October 7, 2008, Milad Tower was opened with the slogan “Heaven is near”.
