Pasir Panjang – Pasir Panjang, Singapore
The first project for the Pasir Panjang Terminal (Phase 1 and 2) started in 1996 and was later extended to Phase 3 and 4 which was completed in 2008. For our part, the project included the production and skidding of – the up to 12,000 tons – caissons. In phase 3 & 4, the production of the caissons took place with a double gantry slipform. A total of 238 caissons were produced. The terminal opened in its entirety in 2015 and is scheduled to cease operations in 2040 when Tuas Megaport is completed (for which we also produced the caissons).
