TRIWIND FLOATER – SPAIN
The construction phase of a partial, full-scale prototype of the TRIWIND floating platform was completed in Lugo, Spain. Our heavy-duty slipform system was used, developed to be extra rigid and at the same time highly efficient for repeated dismantling and reassembly operations.
One of our targets for the future is to contribute to creating sustainable, resistant, and including infrastructures. Read more about our knowledge and investments in production for floating wind here.
The aim of the ARCHIME3 prototype phase is to highlight the potential of floating offshore wind as a reliable and cost-effective source of renewable energy, as well as the readiness of the TRIWIND design for mass production on a commercial scale.
