This landmark project represents the first of several key steps in the Korean government’s long-term strategy to expand Busan’s port capacity. The ambition is to transform Busan into the world’s third-largest port by 2045, strengthening its position as a global maritime hub.
Advanced Caisson Production with Slipform Technology
For this project, we will deliver equipment for the gantry slipform system, enabling the simultaneous production of two caissons. Once complete, the caissons will be transferred to the floating dock using our IP-CCV transfer equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable handling of these massive marine structures.
